Eliana Grace
Eliana Grace finally arrived on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:57 pm.....surpassing her due date and everyone else's predictions, of course! She weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces and measured 21 3/4 inches long.....tall and skinny. Mom's labor was very long and slow to progress, so after 19 hours of labor, Eliana was delivered via c-section. According to the docs, she was not going to come out any other way. So although she didn't arrive the way we thought, we were so happy that she was born healthy....especially after a difficult pregnancy. It took mom and dad a few days to decide on her name, but we finally agreed on Eliana Grace.....meaning "God has answered" with grace, and He truly has! She is everything we envisioned and more...and we are so excited to begin this journey in
to parenthood.

Congratulations on the birth of your first baby girl! She is beautiful! I found your blog by accident and just wanted to encourage you in your new role as mother! My first baby girl was born just three short months ago, actually and it has been such a great adventure. Praise God for his many blessings!

Hey guys! Eliana is seriously the most beautiful little baby I have ever seen!!! When I read the meaning of her name I got goosebumps! Wow! What a perfect name for your little one=).
